COVID-19 Guidelines Compliance Statement

At North Cornwall Campsite our top priority is the health & safety of our campers, staff and our wider community. To this end, we have designed our campsites to be ‘COVID Guidelines Compliant’ and adhere to all relevant government guidelines.

DO NOT ENTER CAMPSITE if experiencing any symptoms of Coronavirus.

Coronavirus COVID-19 Symptoms (from NHS website)

The main symptoms of coronavirus are:

  • a high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)
  • a new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
  • a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you've noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal

Most people with coronavirus have at least 1 of these symptoms.

Please visit the NHS website for more information

Please go home and isolate as per government guidelines.

  • Follow all instructions from campsite staff and notices
  • Respect social distancing (min 2m apart)
  • Use our ‘hands-free’ taps to wash hands and sanitise regularly
  • Use sanitiser and/or wash hands before using our showering facility
  • If interactions closer than 2 metres apart are necessary with our staff at our reception area, our campsite staff will wear face visors

Any abuse of the COVID Guidelines Compliant campsite etiquette, which risks the health and safety of our staff or other campers will be taken seriously.

We reserve the right to terminate your stay and/or refuse entry.

You may be asked to leave and any monies paid forfeit.

Government legislation does allow for the involvement of Police in certain circumstances.

Non-compliance and our staff may ask you to leave the site.

In the unfortunate event of local authority/government or similar restrictions being imposed due to the Coronavirus outbreak we reserve the right to limit campsite numbers/restrict stays for people from certain localities and/or close the site if necessary.

In such event, refunds of monies paid will not be possible, however we would undertake to offer transfer of any un-utilised stay to another acceptable date later in the season and/or 2022.

Thank you for your co-operation, we look forward to welcoming you on site for a happy, healthy stay!
