The campsite is well maintained by Kev and Caz, who help as much as possible, we endured two storms which where devasting to some campers, but help was given quickly . The site is basic but has a wonderful family feel.  Due to covid extra steps were put in place for everyone's safety and it all worked very well. Distance to beaches was about 5-10 minute drive ,with the main road right next to site it was easy to go off and explore. Kev and Caz do a walk around throughout the day and night to ensure everyone is safe and happy.

Very well organised. Kevin & Kaz are fantastic helping people in the dark securing their tents in some pretty horrific wind(at least 50mph) Big thanks to Kevin & Kaz

The workers where so lovely and a massive help during 50mph winds they helped steak our tent in very firmly to stop it from collapsing again and where all round very friendly.

We loved this campsite for its simplicity with a farm countryside feel overlooking fields as far as the eye can see. When the sun sets its lovely. The owner was friendly and went above and beyond offering to help set up tents, help people start bbqs and even was up in the night of a storm checking on the wellbeing of campers. You can have camp fires as long as they are off the ground using a pit or you can use a communal fire pit on site. You can buy bags of wood and kindling for £8 which burned well. There is outside water taps with hand wash and each private toilet port had hand sanitizer. You can use the outside farm buildings for shelter in the wind for cooking is you are struggling to start a fire. Finally, the lovely runner ducks and chickens were nice to watch each morning.

Friendly owner (who came to our rescue with putting up our tent!). Wildlife, and close to great stretch of coastline. Dedicated toilet facilities for each pitch.

When we arrived there was a very warm welcome, they were happy to help if we needed anything and were genuinly very nice. The pitches were perfectly set out to follow social distancing rules, there was one toilet per pitch which makes it alot easier for a family with children they were also very clean there were also 4 shower cubicles that were cleaned in between each shower. there were also easy to follow guidelines of the pitch itself. There was livestock located in the next field that were not shy of coming to say hello lovely for children to see. Very spacious for ball games and cycling.

Location was perfect and you can have a fire

We really liked the amount of space allotted to our pitch, use of private portaloos, easy and convenient location, quite, location on a farm with Alpacas in the field next to the campsite and friendly and helpful management. The campsite is listed as ‘no frills’ but I’m not sure this name does it justice as it had everything we needed !!

Location - perfect for setting up camp and then travelling to other locations in Cornwall for days out. Direct access to a main road makes it easy to find and also makes it easy to travel to any other desired location in Cornwall. Toilet facilities were very clean and hand sanitiser was always available. Tent pitches are spaced out nicely.

Pitch size was good, your very own toilet, warm showers, allowed fires.

Location fabulous, easy reach of beaches and easy walk or cycle ride into Bude. Weir Cafe is fabulous and only around 10 mins walk away. Great having your own allocated Portaloo, all felt very safe and clean. Kevin and Kaz very friendly and helpful especially in lending out bits and pieces to hold tents down when the gales came last week! Would definitely stay again if they do it next year.

This was a last minute booking and after struggling to find much availability with facilities we settled for this one. What a pleasant suprise! Lovely site with all the basic facilities you need. Kevin was really friendly and welcoming and always available if you needed anything (he even came to the rescue when he saw us struggling to pump our bed up!) We were given a large enough space to fit our van, gazebo and small tent on, and we also had the use of our own private loo! We did have a couple of young groups stay whilst we were there but no problem with noise at all! I wish Kevin and Co all the best with this venture!
